Modesto-Hilton

Few days ago, we decided to have some sort of a "high-class night" for fun. We were thinking of Argentina Steakhouse but flipping over the menu placed outside, it doesn't look too interesting so we jumped to the next door neighbour instead.

Dinner at Modesto (the restaurant), KL

There was only 2 table of diners, including us, that night. The surrounding and the ambience was nothing impressive or really worth mentioning about but it is still not a bad place though. It is simple and not crowded. Moving on to the food, no doubt they really pamper your taste buds with their deliciously fine cooking. However, it is not quite a satisfying meal. The portions are really small lor~!

(Chef's recommended) Pasta & Lamb shank with red wine and herbs

Comparitively speaking, the price wasn't really expensive for these kind of meal BUT given that size of the portion served on your plate, this place is awfully pricey. At least it gives you the feeling that it is not worth it.

After dinner, we drove to Hilton and have a drink. Since Le Meridien was just beside Hilton, we walked around, sipping in the 'classy' air. It was incredibly fulfilling. Le Meridien feels more cosy while Hilton is more lively. I decided we should go Hilton and so we went.

A cup of rich and frothy drink, that gives you the "slluuurrrrrpppp....aahhhhhh" feeling, is simply perfect to conclude our night. That's our night out in KL.
